The friendly little lobby with Thai furnishings is a nice change from the impersonal feel of the surrounding district. An outdoor balcony links the rooms, which gives onto the outdoor courtyard and plaza below. The rooms are a little ordinary, blandly decorated with average mattresses and simple furnishings, but they have a clean, fresh feel and are very good value. Indeed their plainness will be refreshing for those tired of excessive florals and bulk hotel flourishes. Visitors generally warm to the friendly ambience of the place and its touristy but traditional plaza with teak Thai houses, seafood restaurants and handicrafts.
